Dear Ladies, I would like to say a big THANK YOU to WENA Exco & Ajk for running the IEP program for us.

It has been an invaluable learning experience & those who attended have improved tremendously in their tech knowledge.

My personal experience has been most delightful... i learnt that by using the tools provided and using social media my life has suddenly opened up to many opportunities. I do more with less and can reach a lot more people in half the time it used to take!isnt that interesting?

Pls send my regards and thanks to the Mdec people who gave this special project to WENA. Tell them they have brilliant teachers that helped us through the course..makan pun sedap aje ( catering bagus !)

Well put madam President. I think I got the feeling that Datin Nursiah
was trying to covey as that was exactly the reason why I join WENA. I
see that the members are very helpful and the sisterly spirit are
definitely there..none of the 'arms-length' feeling. i can feel the
warmth at every function we had..Glad that I join WENA.

Salam WENA members,

I would like to thank the participants for Internet Entrepreneur
Program (IEP) Batch I for their presence at the Profiling Session.
Thank you for your enthusiasm in placing long-life learning for the
betterment of your business as your number 1 priority. With members
like you , you make our job easier. On top of that, you also make our
sponsor - MDeC - happy and satisfied with WENA deliverables that we
are reminded today to commence Batch 2 (max 20 pax only) asap.

FYI, one of our new members, YBhg Datin Nursiah, the Sec-Gen of NCWO,
also an entrepreneur, called me yesterday to convey her thanks for
inviting her to WENA, and in particular for being able to join this
program. With her wisdom in attending many networks, she gave positive
feedback about WENA network simply for the sharing spirit and the
absence of envious feeling.

My request to all WENA professional ladies - Let us keep up the spirit
of sharing and supporting each other. Let us look at how we as members
can contribute our expertise for the benefit of each other. As new
members joined, they experience WENA. Reputation is earned. We are
leaders in our respected fields. Hence, we must maintain and expand on
WENA’s spirit.

Whenever we are networking, always remind ourselves to engage in high
value conversation all the time - be solution focused. As a business
person who exercises the power to make policy decisions and is
actively involved in the day-to-day management of our businesses,
high-value conversations will lead us and our businesses to another
level. As Eleanor Roosevelt quoted – “small minds talk about people,
average minds talk about events while GREAT minds talk about ideas”.
Let us aspire to be the support group with GREAT minds.

Having said the above, we should not tolerate negative elements such
as unsubstantiated claims, belittling others, backstabbing, gossiping,
badmouthing to name a few, for the benefit of hardworking members who
have contributed in building and maintaining WENA’s reputation as we
strive to be a premier association – an association for each of
members to be proud of. Let us focus on each other's goodness,
strength and wisdom towards achieving WENA's vision and mission:

Vision:
To be the platform to promote principled, knowledgeable and innovative
Bumiputera Women Entrepreneurs.

Mission:

i.      To create dynamic network and encourage fellowship of women
entrepreneurs
ii.     To become an enabler for technology adoption

Insyaallah, with you as the crew of the ship, we will sail together to
reach our destination. As like driving your car, or flying a plane,
adjustments and corrections need to be taken when you are faced with
challenges and obstacles along the way, which requires you to alter
your intended course, but ultimately you must reach your destination
safely and timely.

The Wena Business Network - My Story

I was invited to attend a business matching session with the representatives from the Malaysian-Iranian Corporation and some delegates from Iran last week.  The session was organized by FMM, and hosted by our own Tg Marina, whose hospitality and warm welcome made everyone at ease, and the business matching session successful.  My invite came from our own Madame President, who prompted for companies with education products and solutions.
